Function of eps e-payment standard A web-shop customer pays in his familiar internet banking enviroment without disclosure of his account number. The web-shop is independent of the banking accounts of its customers and only has to implement one system. If a web-shop elects the use of the new e-payment standards it can offer a familiar and safe online payment system to its customers.
- In the webshop the customer chooses eps as payment method
- After this choice a server 2 server connection ist starting to exchange data. The Online-Banking appears, the customer logs into the bank.
- All the payment relevant information will be exchanged without extra effort for the customer!
- The customer signs the payment with his TAN, the payment is done.
